Second Edition published of book “Patents in Belgium, a practical guide”, co-authored by Véronique Pede of CAPE IP

In May 2016, editor Die Keure released the second edition of the book “Octrooien in België, een praktische leidraad” (454 p.) The book is co-authored by Véronique Pede together with André Clerix (patent attorney), Nele D’Halleweyn (patent attorney), Harry Kraft (patent attorney), Pieter Callens (lawyer) and Michaël Beck (patent attorney). 

The aim of the book is to explain patent law in a practical way to a larger interested public of lawyers and engineers. The book gives a detailed overview of the rules that apply to a Belgian patent, from filing to lapse, going over validity, infringement, legal proceedings and contractual matters.
